Amazing Mabel, by Charmay

In the summer of 1916 as Mabel lounged on the
beach in the Provincetown, Massachusetts, she made 184 drawings
reproduced here. This little book is the same size as the sketchbook she
must have carried in her purse and removed when struck by the mood to
draw, which she did for her own pleasure. The book and the photographs
are from Mabel Dodge Luhan's estate, as is her address book from which
the end papers are taken. This book is printed in a limited edition of
250 numbered and signed copies.
